Spring 2020

Eddie Altman

Eddie Altman is a senior at CU Boulder and is currently studying history. He grew up in Erie, Colorado and was heavily involved with his high school's musical theater program. Aside from singing, Eddie also likes to run, play soccer, and hang out with friends. He is very honored that he is a part of Mile 21 and can't wait to bring his best to an already extremely talented group.

Christoph Cikraji

Christoph is a Junior at CU, studying Astrophysics/Physics with a minor in Japanese. He grew up between Japan and many places in the U.S., but calls Durango, CO home where he was involved with the marching band and orchestra programs through high school. Aside from singing, Christoph enjoys throwing whips on the Mountain bike and getting out into the backcountry in the winter. He is super excited to add to an extraordinary group of singers and add to the a cappella community at  CU. 

Mac Cohen

Mac is a senior studying International Affairs with a minor in political science. Born and raised in Aspen, Colorado, he grew up skiing and hiking. Mac just got back from studying abroad in Spain, and he is excited to embark on a new adventure with Mile 21. He looks forward to contributing to such a talented group.

Sarah Doyle

Sarah is a junior at CU studying psychology and sociology. She is from a suburb of Chicago and started singing and songwriting at an early age. She’s been a member of Mile 21 since fall of her freshman year and enjoys every moment she spends at rehearsals and gigs. Outside of Mile 21, Sarah enjoys hanging out with friends, traveling, and sports. She is ecstatic to be president of such a phenomenal group alongside her best friends.

Sarah Grammer

Sarah is a sophomore at CU, studying international affairs and hopefully French. She sang all through high school, participating in multiple musicals and choirs, and is ecstatic to keep singing through college with this wonderful group. In her free time, she loves hanging out with her friends and playing board games, going to get food on the Hill, and of course, singing!

Kyle McCall

Kyle McCall is a junior at CU studying Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. Growing up in San Marino, California, he discovered a love for singing at an early age. He has sung in a multitude of honor choirs and is excited to be singing with another premier group like Mile 21. He is a baritone who sings bass when needed and can also provide some beats. His favorite things to do are to chill out with friends, go out on adventures in the mountains, and sleep. Kyle is the treasurer and sound engineer of Mile 21.

Ellie Simpson

Ellie is a sophomore at CU studying integrative physiology and pre-nursing. She has sang her whole life, and cannot wait to continue in Mile 21 doing what she loves. When she isn’t singing, she is busy playing club soccer, running the Marvel club, being in a sorority, or watching movies. She is incredibly excited to share her passion for music with everyone in the coming years!

Justin Gill

Justin is a junior studying Finance, Information Management, and Computer Science, and could not be more excited for his future with Mile 21. He loves finding the fun in being excellent, and Mile 21 is a fantastic group that embodies both. In high school, Justin played a wide variety of sports and was very involved with his choirs. Aside from being the Business Manager of the group, he brings a positive attitude and strong work ethic to the ensemble.

Ali Keller

Ali is somewhere in between her sophomore and junior year at CU. She is majoring in Technology, Arts & Media with a minor in Computer Science. While she is from Arvada, Colorado, Ali recently returned from an internship in Walt Disney World and hopes to one day work for Pixar’s Animation Studio. She has been involved with a range of music performance since she was two years old and is excited to be in Mile 21 continuing her love of singing.

Chloe Mike

Chloe is a junior at CU and plans on majoring in political science with a minor in business. Her passion for singing stemmed from living room performances as a kid and continued through her high school glee club, so performing has always been a big part of who she is. Chloe is originally from Portland, OR and spends most of her time playing her ukulele, napping and going to concerts and music festivals. After not singing much her freshman year, Chloe feels extremely grateful to be doing what she loves again with such a talented and genuine group of people.

Anna Whitney

Anna is a sophomore at CU on the Pre-Medicine track, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Business. Born and raised in Denver, Anna loves to hike, ski, and play soccer, but also travel and spend time with her friends, family, and three dogs. After singing in middle school and all 4 years in her high school’s choirs, a cappella, and jazz groups, she took a break from singing her freshman and fall semester of her sophomore year, but soon realized how much she missed it. She is so excited to have joined an amazing group of people to continue doing something she loves."

Elise Goetz

Elise is a sophomore studying Psychology and Sociology. She hopes to one day study criminal behavior through psychology and sociology. She is from Boston, MA and excited to find a family away from home with Mile 21. Elise went to an arts high school back in Boston where she had a very intensive music education. She is excited to be involved with music again in a more relaxed but still organized way!

Bri Lavendar

Brigid Lavender is a freshman pursuing a double major in psychology and neuroscience. Born in New Mexico and raised in Boulder, she loves the outdoors, especially the snow. She has been singing since she was little and has been involved in choirs for many years and is very excited to start singing with Mile 21. In her free time she goes to concerts, spends time with friends, skis, pets dogs, and sings. She is so grateful and excited to be apart of a group as wonderful as Mile 21.

Kailynn Perkins

Kailynn is a freshman at CU Boulder, planning on majoring in psychology with a minor in business and music. She is from Denver, Colorado and has been involved in choir since middle school, participating in competitions and show choir. Her dad is a big inspiration and has pushed her to become a better and more confident singer. Aside from music, Kailynn is involved in the Black Student Alliance. She is beyond excited to be apart of this group and is grateful to be working with a talented, fun, and amazing group of people.

Cade Wilson

Cade is a freshman at CU studying Information Science. He attended high school in Wisconsin where he developed a love for music and theatre, and began singing himself. Along with singing, he especially loves to hike and be outdoors. Cade is excited to be a part of the Mile 21 family and to make some incredible music and memories!
